Warning! Do not go unisured in Kentucky

No one can ever foresee the future and the damage to your financial situation it can cause if you do not have health insurance! Unforeseen accidents, unexpected health problems… can happen to anyone, at any age or health status. You should really stop and realize we can not foresee the future, and health insurance should be a priority for you and your family.

There are many options for health coverage to fit each individual’s situation. With all the layoffs and unemployment many people are going uncovered because the option of Cobra from their jobs is just unaffordable. Most Insurance companies offer some sort of saver plan that has lower premiums, but will still cover you and your family if an unforeseen accident or illness occurs.

In some cases you could purchase a short term policy that has no co pays to the doctor, but will cover you up to 2 million dollars if something impairs your health. These types of plans come with the option of deductibles from $200 to $7500. Going with a higher deductible will make the monthly premiums more affordable for you. You can search around and find coverage at a low premium price that will keep you covered until you can find a job with health benefits, rather than taking the chance by going uncovered.

Another type of insurance you could look into would be a PPO plan with a high deductible. This would be a good plan with a little higher monthly premium, but it would give you co pays to the doctor usually unlimited, unlike the saver plans. This would be a good idea because when we are searching for jobs and stressing about how the bills are going to get paid, our immunities are lowered. This makes you and your family more susceptible to catching viruses going around.

Auto and Home owners insurance is also very important to your financial security.  Insurance of any kind is essentially a safety net to your finances.
